THE CHANGING FACE OF THE CITY
Main Article Content
Abstract
Today, I want to focus on what was until recently called a credit crunch which has now turned into a credit crisis and, in the City, become something of a disaster with jobs and markets disappearing. I am going to look at the origins of the current economic situation and the implications of this for legal work in the City. If I have time I will also mention some recent research about the differences between men and women when it comes to appetite for risk taking and the implications of this for the banking sector in particular.
